MORNING STAR YACHT CRUISE

Has anyone taken a cruise on this yacht? Particularly, we're interested in the Romantic Dinner Sail and would like to hear
from folks who have done it or taken any of the other options offered. Leaving in less than 60 days and can't wait......and I live in the Southwest so it isn't like we've had a horrible winter like so many of you. B-r-r-r. :-)

Re: MORNING STAR YACHT CRUISE

I did---It was awesome--very romantic- Cat and Marci treat you like old friends. My wife was awestruck ( it was a surprise to her). You cant go wrong with this charter. WE took the dinner sail you are referring to. - After a relaxing sail and a few cocktails, we anchored in a quiet cove, they set up a candlelit table for us and Cat prepared a great 5 course meal- It was served by Marci in his maitre d' uniform. Everything was just SUPER!! I am sendin you the link to their website. If you need any other info contact me at falconnj@hotmail.com

Re: MORNING STAR YACHT CRUISE

Here is a section of my trip report regarding your question.

The 2nd surprise for my honey was a privately chartered dinner cruise aboard the Morningstar. Its a 40' sailboat owned and operated by Marci and Kat. This was
AWESOME! Marci and Kat are great hosts and make you feel like part of their
family. After a relaxing sail around the area,(with cocktails in hand) we
anchored and Kat,in her chef's uniform, prepared a scrumptuous 5 course meal.
This leisurely, delicious, candlelight dinner was served by Marciano, under the
stars, in his maitre'd uniform. A quiet sail back to their mooring and an end to
a perfect night!
-
At sunset, sitting together, hand in hand, on the water, with your sweety, in
Aruba---jeez, how romantic is that?
-
Thanks Kat & Marci for an unforgettable trip! We'll see you on the next trip!
-
My wife thought that was soooooooooooo sweet of me. It gave me a lot of brownie
points I can use for future screw-ups!!!

My wife and I will be going to Aruba in August. Could you provide me with that address. The cruise sounds great. What was the cost and how long did it last? Tks

Re: MORNING STAR YACHT CRUISE

Thanks Fred, for your review. Sounds absolutely heavenly and the perfect way to celebrate our upcoming 30th anniversary.
I get the impression from their website that you can pretty much design your own cruise which could include snorkeling, etc. before the dinner. (Wouldn't we look pretty?) :-)
Hubby is just concerned about sailing for such a long period of time....can you tell he isn't the romantic type? LOL

Keith, www.morningstararuba.com
There are a number of cruise options to choose from......not inexpensive, but my guess is, worth every penny for something so special.

Very expensive- check out LeDome on the Ocean- less expensive and very good.
