    Mosquitoes in August

How are the mosquitoes in August? I have never had to bring bug spray to Aruba, although I've never traveled in August, so just curious if I should put this on my list. Thanks!

I have been to Aruba in August a few times. There was only one time I can remember there being a ton of black flies for a few days during a visit. I was told that it was because of a storm somewhere. I don't ever remember having a mosquito issue.

We have never had a big problem with mosquitos but the few we did see were when the wind stopped blowing.

If it has been rainy, which it has not, then there will be mosquitoes.

Lesson I learned a long time ago, bring a small can of bug spray and you won't need to use it. Murphy's Law.
If you don't have it, you will want it.

I agree with Lisa, always bring just in case and hopefully you won't need it. I needed it a few years back, the store was all out of it (at resort) I bring it with me now as I am a mosquito magnet. I am not even sure if they are mosquitos but something likes me at night so I always bring it, the unscented kind so I do not smell like bug spray (lol)

If Mosquitos like to chew you on you... Bring it. They love me and I've learned my lesson through 25 trips. I always wear it at dusk and at night at dinner. I use Avon bug b gone lotion on my legs. Works like a charm
