I would be super impressed if someone could attach THE drink to get at each location.

i think that those beach bars...moomba, pelican, bugaloe etc ..should make an "event" of it.
maybe even a weekly scavenger hunt kind of event.
Shhh! That's my business plan for retiring to Aruba... lead folks up and down the beach on a bar crawl... and get paid! Walt's Aruba Libation Tour... "WALT" get it?

On any given day every place has a special and happy hour. I would suggest picking one drink, say an Aruba Arriba, and giving each stop a score for the drink. Once you complete the tour, go back and have another one or more at your favorite place!

Challenge accepted on the drink suggestions:
Surf Club they have a frozen banana drink that's good.
Hadicurai have a cold beer there, try a Chill
Moomba: watermelon mojitos, not always on the menu but ask
Holiday Inn beach bar: Aruba Aribi
Pelicans Nest: they have a mango frozen drink that is awesome but I can't remember the name, yep, that good.
    Carlitos: Mojitos
    Scott's Brats: Vodka and Lemonade
Playa Linda Beach Bar: Raspberry mudslide
Bugaloe: the blue frozen drink or the frozen sangria

    That's my tour of drinks.

    Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

We like to rent a jeep and drive on the north side. We find a quite a spot where there aren't too many rocks and you can get close to the water(it is really rocky and rough-not for swimming(old shacks will clue into an area). We bring a blanket or sheet, a bottle of wine, some bread and cheese and spend few alone hours. You won't be totally alone-people do drive by and stop, but you'll pretty much be alone. It is just beautiful to watch the pounding waves hit against the dark rocky coast. It is so different the where the hotels are at.

If you are at the Ren, you can walk to the restaurants mentioned. There is also West Deck and Que Pasa. There are many restaurants in Renaissance Marketplace Mall (the one with the movie theater). You have to try the Dutch Pancake House for breakfast(Linda's and Diana's are two others that are great, but you need a car).

Congratulations! As has been mentioned LG Steakhouse and Yemanja are musts. Taxis are fairly affordable and buses are cheap. Easy to navigate around Aruba but fun to have a car too, for a day or two. The north side is spectacular. Many take guided tours or rent UTV's or jeeps. If you rent a car, the only major spot you can't get to is the Natural Pool. I love the bar hopping ideas suggested. You will love the private island. Have fun!
