WE have reservations at this hotel any info would be helpful. food? clean? beach? close to activites? this will be our first visit to aruba thanks for any info.

I had lunch at Tulip's, the restaurant at MVC in July before I left. The staff was really pleasant and the food was good. It was very clean and right across the street from Eagle Beach. They have beach chairs you can use. The pool was very small, but then again, you have the beach across the street. There are activities (jet ski, parasailing, etc) a little bit futher down on Eagle Beach. Have a great time!!

Thehotel was happened to be where the Dutch marines had there place to stay.
It's very near the beach and has a good restaurant with mostly European food and also Hamburgers.
There is a busstop in front of the hotel.
Restaurants are 5 minutes drive near the big hotels.
It's a clean little hotel where most Dutch people stay.
Hope you like it,it's not bad!

We stayed there for one night last December.
The room was clean but very basic and small. It was okay for a short stay but we wouldn't be able to take it for any longer. The pool is just a kiddie pool. Breakfast was good but we did not eat dinner there.

what does MVC stand for ?

MVC= Dutch Marine Center

We also are going to be staying there 2 nights on the end of our 2 weeks stay and wondered the same thing. I had good recommadations for this place. From the LaCabana which way on Eagle Beach is this toward town or toward the high rises? Any other info on this hotel?

Marriott Vacation Club is what stand as far as I know for MVC....Not Amsterdam Manor!!

Marine Verlof Centrum (Marine Holiday Center)

Marine Verlof Center, the place near the beach the small local Dutch Army used for vacation and weekend stay. Now it is mostly used by Dutch tourists.
