I would like to say that I am VERY encouraged by the way Aruban authorities have handeled this situation! I just read a story about them calling for a massive search including everyone on the island! I am touched by the effort this island has put into finding Natalee!

My husband and I have been going to Aruba since 1975 and always found it to be an extremely safe island. The Aruban people must be so terribly upset over this incident happening on their island. This is a real shame and I hope that this young girl is found safe and unharmed.

I live in Birmingham Alabama where Natalee lives. I hope people are not so naive that they would hold a place responsible for evil people do. This happens everywhere as there is everywhere. I have read some of the posts and find them ridiculous. No one would ever travel any where if evil cannot happen. It is everywhere. Many thoughts and prayers for Natalee, her family and friends, and the Arubian people.

I really hope they find her dead or alive,
People in the US especially women go missing everyday. Aruba is doing the best they can trying to locate the young lady. Everyone is hoping for the best, but God will punish those who did this!

I am returning visitor to the Island also and am very appreciative of all the efforts made on behalf of the Aruban Officials, Residents of the Island, and Visiting Tourists in the search for Natalee. We all hope for a safe return and or resolution to this situation. May God Bless you in your efforts and my prayers to the family of Natalee. Keep searching until all leads are exhausted. There may be an Angel on Her Shoulder.

We have visited the island of Aruba yearly since 1999. There has never been one time when I did not feel safe. The beautiful people of this island are the friendliest people I have ever encountered. I pray information regarding Natalee is discovered soon. I also hope this will be a lesson to everyone to use good judgement in all situations, especially when visiting a foreign country.
