Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

I also live in Alabama and pray for Natalee. Such a scary thing for her family to be going through right now. I pray for them also. The Arubian government has been awesome! I was wondering how the country would react with her being a foreigner, (as in the Schapelle Corby case) but they have, I feel, been very supportive to the family and to everyone.
God Bless them!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REMOVING THE MESSAGES POSTED ON THIS BOARD REGARDING THE MISSING TEEN. I THINK PEOPLE THRIVE ON PEOPLES PAIN AND THAT IS WHY THEY SAY THE THINGS THEY DID. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

I hope and pray that Natalee is found alive. That the people of Aruba are doing everything they can to help says a great deal about your lovely country and your wonderful citizens. I live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and just want to say thank you for all you are doing for her and her family.

Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

I live in Canada and I just want to say our prayers are with Natalee and her family. I am glad that all the negative postings have been removed. I have been to Aruba twice, and will be returning this October. I think that the ignorance that some people showed on the message board are examples of simple-minded thinking. This incident could have happened anywhere. You cannot point the finger on the country and it's people. I LOVE ARUBA and have no plans on "boycotting" anything and anyone it represents. The people are friendly, and I have never felt safer in any other country - including Canada! This situation is unfortunate, however, Aruba is just like any country - there are good people and bad people.

Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

We have been visiting Aruba for more than 20 years. The reason we have kept going back is because of the kindness and friendliness of the Aruban people, and because we have always felt safe. My husband had a heart attack on the island almost 15 years ago. Everyone was so kind to us. I know that, like us, the people of Aruba are horrified and heartbroken by what has happened. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Natalie and her family.

Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

I first visited Aruba in 98...and fell in lust with the island.
I truely hope that what has happened does not hurt the islands' tourism and it's people. What was said earlier is true...no one should judge the entire island and it's people for the actions of one or a few.
We all pray for her return and I know that I am quite impressed with the actions of not only the government in giving the day off to gov't workers to take part in the search, but for the outpouring of support and concern shown by the people of Aruba.
Mi stima Aruba!

Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

What a heart warming scene to see on last nights news.............The Arubian people singing a hymn at the lighthouse during a prayer vigil for Natalee.

Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

My prayer is for rest...for Natalee, whether she be found on earth or heaven, and for her family. The Lord has peace beyond understanding for these things that happen in a world cursed by sin. All we have to do is ask for it. May God give everyone involved both inner peace and clear thinking during the investigation. I also have a prayer for unrest...unrest for anyone involved who has not come forward. May the Lord's chastening be upon them until they confess. All praise and honor are due the Lord Jesus Christ.

Re: Natalee Holloway Thread

IN GOD WE TRUST,in the name of the Arubian community this is very shocking for the island,we still can't believe that something like this happen on this one Happy Island, we are nice people with a friendly character, and thats why today we put our work aside to help the searching for Natalee.
You get cases like this but the youth of Aruba does stay away from their home because of problems in the family but they return to home. But this is an extra ordinary case. How can we expect some thing like this happen on a small island like Aruba my home town.
This realy hurts.........
