Re: Natural bridge??

It actually collapsed about 3 months after she went missing. It is sad, it happened so early and know one was on the bridge at the time, thank god. There are other natural bridges to. Not as big, but still natural.

Re: Natural bridge??

YEs the natural bridge did collapsed but it's still there to see what's left of in. But to they person that said it collapsed a few weeks after Natelie went missing that is not true it actually collapsed in september at 5:00 in the morring when no one was out there so no one got hurt. So i don't Know where that person got there information for but i just have gotten back for Aruba and went on a tour and they told us when it collapsed. A i have been to Aruba 3 times and next year will be my 4 and i enjoy Aruba very much........

Re: Natural bridge??

Natalie went missing at the end of May 2005 - the Natural Bridge collapsed on Sept. 2, 2005.

Here's the link to my trip report - the photo at the very bottom of the page was taken in Sept. 2005 just a few weeks after it happened.

Re: Natural bridge??

Natural Bridge collapsed on Sept. 2, 2005. From what I've read, you can still go see it, just not walk on it. We saw it in May 2005. We are going back this year and will definitely go there.

Re: Natural bridge??

There still is a natural bridge next to this one. They call it the baby and the collapsed natural bridge was the mother. Therefore, the thirst aid station is still open and doing a good business...just remember to bring your quarter for the bathroom!
