    Natural Bridge

    http://www.noticiacla.com/news/3972

although written in Papiamento, it is apparent that the intent is to put a walking overpass and sort of rebuild the "natural bridge".
(the one that fell down 10 yrs ago)

    i am awaiting the translation.

i am wondering if this is something that is important to many? is it important to be able to walk across the area? what do the arubans think about it?

There were many people climbing on it when I was there in August. I am not sure a bridge would keep people off it.

On the other hand it may bring some new life and tourism to this area that used to be so busy and is now depressing.

I like that Aruba is thinking of something to make the Natural Bridge area attractive again.

Not sure, what to think of a "carbon fiber" bridge though.

I never saw the Natural Bridge in it's whole beauty. It had already collapsed when I went to Aruba the very first time. However, I fell in LOVE with the area anyway! The wild side of Aruba is beautiful there, the ocean and powerful waves breathtaking! I ALWAYS go over there on ANY trip! And like to spend some time there and enjoying ALL of it.

maybe if they could open it up a little bit they could have a nice small beach there again. When I first went to the island I remember going in the water with my boys there it was fun. Not sure I would like the bridge though.
    Next Aruba trip in

Hopefully this will inspire a clean up effort. The last few times we have been there, I noticed a lot of litter.
Not sure when, but we will be back
