    Need ideas for 50th anniversary

Hey guys. Need some help. My sis and bil will be joining us in Aruba in May. They have been there 3 times with us before. They will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary while there. They both like steak and seafood. Trying to decide where to go for that special dinner. Who has the best steaks and or romantic setting in your opinion? How about seafood? Bil is a stickler for getting his steak the way he orders it. Anything else we might do to celebrate?

Yemanja or Madam Janette or Barefoot!
great ambiance at all as well as steaks and seafood.

Or or even the new place Quinta Del Carmen or even Ventanas at Tierra Del Sol

I can speak first hand about Madame Janette's for a perfect evening.... and I'm convinced that Quinta Del Carmen would fit your bill too!

We went to MJ's for our 30th and had a wonderful evening. Quinta Del Carmen is getting fabulous reviews. The atmosphere looks lovely but we haven't been so can't vouch for the food. LG Smith's cooks a delicious steak, the service is wonderful but my feeling is the atmosphere is a little too corporate. Others might feel differently. Our 33rd anniversary is in May and we're leaning towards Quinta del Carmen so we can try some place new.

We love MJs. Have never been to Barefoot, Yamanji or Quintas Del Carmen. How are the steaks there? Where can I get the menus? Thanks.

We've been to "The Flying Fishbone" three times and The Spouse always gets the ribeye and then proceeds to pass out from the red meat goodness. Or the arterial clogging. Beautiful setting, great service. I always have fish and it's been consistently great.

We we weren't impressed with LG Smith... It was okay but nothing spectacular from a steak perspective.

Avoid Ruth's Chris at all costs: over-priced and sub-par food. Mediocre service, at best.

Great ribeye at Qunita Del Carmen as well if you don't want to make the trek to Flying Fishbone.

The Spouse wasn't impressed with the steak at Madam Jeanette's but others rave about it.
