Overall I like it. I do think however, that the tabs for new posts etc. should be in a color, maybe red, so they stand out. The tabs currently give the appearance of being grayed out,or nonfunctional. Just my opinion of course.

Pegmeister, that is what they need to highlight, just the new posts so it stands out. I, too, thought at first it was non-functional.

Hmmm. New layout. As much as a change can be refreshing, (and I don't mean to sound grumpy or curmudgeonly about this),
going to a template-style page from a page that looks decidedly different from everyone else's
(a reason I really enjoy viewing this web board) seems kinda backwards, bearing in mind that's
    coming from a design perspective.
As for functionality, I only view this page on my home computer, so I can't really say much more regarding that.
I'm sure we'll get used to it.

Adjusting. Will need to use for a while to learn the bells/whistles. I.E., clicked '+Reply to Thread' and it takes me to 'Quick Reply'.

Don't like it. The impression is dark. Not Caribbean-like at all. The overall feel is dark and depressing. Format is awkward and new posts etc do not stand out. Shame on this designer

The template uses color/hue from the ocean water on the aruba.com home page

I will add though that imo and it is just that, though like Aquaman stated, the colors are a bit "cool", the photo of a bunch of boats and a lousy Aruba sunset is not one of the best photos I have ever seen. Maybe a photo better put to use on a page for "activities", "deep sea fishing".

LOL, after having said all this, the forum's new design is complete. I am sure there were thousands of dollars put into the design so the professionals know better than any of us
