EdnaSmith Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: CasaDelMar Posts: 144	Yes the movie theatres are open and some shops as well. Can't remember the names of all the open shops but the place is beautiful. There will be restaurants as well as the shops, and a three story parking garage.

Liz - Aruba Lover Moderator Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 693	Besides the Cinema there very few stores open yet and only 2 restaurants - Taste of Belgium and Scala's. Other restaurants to go in the mall are Iguana Joes, TGIFridays, Mr. Jazz Seafood and Moby Dick's Seafood. 3 weeks in Aruba Dec. 16, '08 - Jan. 9, '09 Aruba since 1985

We will be there for a few weeks in December so the movie theatre is a good option for the kids when we want to go out for dinner without them. Does anyone know if more things will be open by December? Also, what kind of restaurant is Scala's? Thanks everyone!! *Randi*

Interesting...prices for Scala seems a little on the high side. For similar pricing, or just slightly more you could eat on the beach at Gilligan's at the Radisson.

Just another example of why we have had to turn to all inclusive.
