    Smile new years eve 2008

our family, hubby, wife, 3 kids, and in laws head to our favorite place every year, at least twice. this is our first time coming "home" for new years eve. i was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a great night out and where we can watch the ball drop. we plan on bringing down hats and noisemakers for the kids, and thought of bringing food in (stay at the surf club) and having an in room party til 11:30 or so...then finding the parties around the island.
does champions host a party? that would be convenient, and if so, do we need to be there early to make sure we get in??
    waiting to hear from you...

All I can say is that you will want to be OUTSIDE at midnight for the fireworks!

Fireworks are unbeleivable, you would think you are in the middle of a war around, better and longer than anything at home. They start early in the day with the salutes down the middle of the streets, and it continues on all day into nite....
