A NIGHT TIME WEATHER REPORT

Weather reports are so typically discriptive of the day - the night has weather as well.

At an outside restaurant a couple sits at a table and both look to the dark and twinkly sky and talk to it and to each other at the same time. The clouds that gave limited and brief shade today are sleeping. Don't awaken them.

The wind picks up a little - and a palm tree confirms its' passing. Without hesitation, the notion of falling coconuts enters and then quickly leaves the mind.

The waiter has't brought the water or bread yet and no body really cares, conversation has been rediscovered and they have about a decade or so to catch up on.

Something just happened - theirs to know about and ours to admire. The breeze sneaks in again and eyes blink to confirm that it is so.

Hey you two - You have one life to live. Live it.

The sky is resting - tomorrow is going to be a long day.

Re: A NIGHT TIME WEATHER REPORT

Speaking of night time weather, what is the evening temp in Aruba? This will be our first visit (we leave on Tuesday).

Thanks, Charles!

Re: A NIGHT TIME WEATHER REPORT

Charles,

My husband and I will be traveling to Aruba in April and your night time weather report reminded me of exactly why we are coming to your "Happy Island". I don't post here often but enjoy reading it. Thank you for saving it from the "little trolls" and for reminding me to stop planning so much stuff to do on my vacation and take the time to take it slow.

Thank you Charles. Even though I sit here at work in PA, with your description I am "so there".

Re: A NIGHT TIME WEATHER REPORT

Thank you Charles for the great description of the night weather. And like Lisa said saving this board from those "nasties". I love reading all the questions and answers and getting the information I need for my trip. 37 days and counting down. :}

Charles - Renting cell phones may not have been your first calling in life. Keep up the good work and make everyone see Aruba through the eyes of someone who loves it.

Re: A NIGHT TIME WEATHER REPORT

That post just made me feel like I was sitting on the beach in front of the Wyndham having dinner by the sunset.

Instead, I am in Philadelphia missing the sun. What a beautiful island. I am going to get a timeshare (and if I ever hit it big, a house) in Aruba and make it my home away from home.
