Which nightclubs are the best?

Which nightclubs would you recommend me going to? I like all kinds of music.

I also need to know what restaurants are the best on the island.

(I like American, Mexican, Carribean, Brazilian, and Continental food. I dislike or stay away from Italian, Asian or Seafood restaurants though.)

I would CERTAINLY AVOID CARLOS & CHARLIES. It appears from all the readings that something goes on in there to drunken up who they want and then rob, rape, kidnap or steal. Stay away.

My husband and I had fun at Carlos N Charlie's. We were cautious, as we would be anywhere. Be aware of your surroundings and drink an Aruba Arrieba, eat, and dance. This is the only place we went at night.

All the clubs are basically on a strip in town-- cafe bahia, carlos and charlies, tundra, moobo jambo it depends what you are looking for there is also a club that opened recently or actually they chagned the name of it was called La fiesta -- also choose a name is good especially when they have $1 bar!

Re: Which nightclubs are the best?

Carlos N Charlis is a great place to go to . Thay do NOT force you to drink anything! Just as it is in any bar or any club, you need to know your own limits. If you don't know how to drink responsibily, don't drink at all! Nobody is runnung around pouring alcohol down your throat! You have to go to the bar to drink, and you need a VALID id stating you are 18 or older! There is also Bahia which is right next door, choose a name across the street, Mambo Jambo and Euphoria. They are all right in downtown. I have been going to Aruba now for 8 years, been 11 times and just returned from a solo trip a couple of weeks ago. As you would in any club or any city, just watch your surroundings. As everyone else, I am praying for the safe return of Natalee, but the bashing of Carlos N Charlies and the locals needs to stop! I would never go alone, nor would my family feel it was safe enough if it was any other island. Carlos N Charlies was and will always be one of my favorite places to go to. And th Aruban locals will remain to be some of my closet friends. Have a great time, and just be careful, thats all!

Re: Which nightclubs are the best?

I have been to Carlos and Charlies on two occassions and found it entertaining and fun. This girl obviously made some poor choices and the bar can't be responsible for that. I doubt any employee of the bar could have stopped her from leaving with those guys.

They are all just fine. Make your own fun where ever you wish. Anybody that has negative comments about Aruba and what it has to offer for everyone of all ages, need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

Re: Which nightclubs are the best?

Kelly,

Try the KuKoo Kunuku party bus - it's a blast! You'll meet up and party with some fun people. Since you'll be with a group, you can feel secure, but honestly, you won't have anything to worry about. Aruba is a very safe island despite the recent event.

The KuKoo Kunuku party bus is great. C&C is fun. Aruba is still safer than most small towns. Have a great time. Hope to get back to Aruba, myself, someday. Hawaii this year So many Islands, so little time.

Drew:

That sounds like fun! How do you book a tour with this party bus?

And which bars does this bus go to?
