No Allegro - now where?

For people with kids who normally stay AI at the Allegro, where are you going to stay now and why?

Re: No Allegro - now where?

This is my first trip, but I rented a timeshare at Costa Linda from an owner for July. They are big, two bedroom units, cheaper than hotel rooms I looked at, and with a kitchen you can have some meals in the condo if you like. It is on Eagle Beach and shouldn't have issues with crowds and getting up early to get shade on the beach. Their website has a lot of info.

Re: No Allegro - now where?

Been to Aruba for 7 straight years and this year we are taking the kids in December. Wife and I have been at the allegro but now stay at the Marriott Ocean Club. We are staying with the kids at the Wyndham. They have a kids club and the pools and everything look very condusive to let them run around and play.

www.megaresorts.com. Stay at the Tamarijn where kids under 18 stay and eat for free.

Re: No Allegro - now where?

i agree. nothing compares to the allegro. i recently returned and stayed at wyndham. did not like it at all. couldn't compare to all my allegro stays. staff needs some lessons on friendliness, for sure.
