The weather is warming up in New England and we are looking forward to summer weather soon - but we sooooooooo miss Aruba and, for the first time in a long time, have no idea when our next trip will be. We read everyone's great trip reports, look at all the pictures, remember all the good times and that just makes us miss the island more.

How do all of you cope when you are away from paradise?

My husband and I cope by living vicariously thru other's trip reports.

We too have no trip planned in the forseeable future.

We had planned on January, but that is probably not going to happen.

I cope by reading the bulletin board. No date set for our next trip so I'll be visiting the board a lot.

except florida is further out of sight as the days go on
the house here has not sold...yet

I havent been able to cope. Got back from my first trip on Sunday and havent stopped looking for a perfect time to return. Looks like its going to be December!!!

Funny....we all seem to depend on each other to help us cope with withdrawl....I read the forum so much Dh thinks I'm crazy and obcessed...he of course is correct on both counts....Keep hoping I will win lottery so I can just move to Aruba and get it over with !!!!

Our first two trips to Aruba, dh and I sat on the plane on the runway to depart and my tears would just start cranking out. The second trip I knew to request a windows seat so no one would see this fool

The third time dh finally got smart and promised me we would return. AND we have. Throughout the year we scrimp and safe. We do very little take out, in our house it is a REAL luxury, dinners out are limited. All that extra $$$ goes towards our Aruba budget.

In the meantime I too live on wonderful memories and dream of the future!

My last trip was Sept 08 and we aren't going back till Sept 10!!

Feels like a million years away, so I guess I will come on here for my fix!
