Re: Nude Beaches?
Just got back from Aruba two days ago.
1) No nude beaches. Against the law.
Some occasional topless people but even
they will get warned. Want to go nude?
Head up to the California Lighthouse.
The duned area between the lighthouse
and the beach offers a little privacy.
Beware, the locals have "tours" of the
area so hide well.
2) Aruba makes its own drinking water. What
comes out of the tap is as pure as what
you can get in a bottle.
3) Two best places on the island are
Charlie's Bar in San Nicholas (get the
seafood soup!) for a local flavor, and
the Amazonia Restaurant up in the hotel
area (cost 45 - 50 dollars US). It's a
meat restaurant and they do it well.
