Official Statement on the Disappearance of Natalee Holloway

In response to the disappearance of American Natalee Holloway, the Government of Aruba and the Aruba Tourism Authority pledge their full support and cooperation to Ms. Holloway’s family. An investigation is taking place with the support of both local and international authorities.

The island extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to Ms. Holloway’s family and friends for a positive outcome. No additional information is available at this time.

You know your tourism industry is going to go down the drain right? I met your locals at that same club and they were high on drugs and asking us to leave with them We said no.The 3 boys she left with did this and you know it. Why don't you do something? Oh well your econmy is going down.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, if you really think that their economy is going down over this incident, then us here in the US are in BIG trouble with all of our murders, rapes, etc, etc. that happen ALL THE TIME here! You almost sound to be rubbing it in to their faces that this happened. Oh and....in case you haven't noticed, they ARE doing something about it. While they have arrested the two security guards, they have NOT given reasons for doing so, only to say that their crimes are connected. Authorities have their reasons for doing things.....I know, I was married to a cop for many years. The police often keep details about a crime out of the public eye for many reasons. It could be that if they released the information that they do know, it could possibly be that it would hinder their investigation by possibly tipping off someone else involved. No one knows but I guarantee you that they are trying to HELP this girl. So instead of running your mouth about it, why don't you put your mouth to good use and actually do something good, the only thing any of us CAN do about it......PRAY.

Aruba will not suffer because there is no other place safer then Aruba. Natalee was not snatched up on the streets she went on her own. I wish people would stop acting like Aruba has stalkers in the streets waiting to snatch you up. If they really knew this place they would know that the Arubian people are very hospitable. They stop their cars to let you cross the street. In America, they would run you over because everyone here has such a busy life they have no time for compassion.
