Oil Drilling Ships anchored off shore

When we were in Aruba, just for a few precious hours 2 weeks ago, we noticed that there were 4 or maybe 5 (could not tell for sure) of the huge oil drilling ships anchored and waiting for work.

Does anyone know how much they are paying Aruba to anchor there while waiting for work?

Are any of you bothered by them interfering with your view?

I want to say it was hundreds of thousands per year- 300k is ringing a bell in my little brain but I could be off. They don't bother me in the least.

I was told 500,000 and they had to agree to obtain supplies from Aruban companies
