ok- more Radisson questions!

Since I can't seem to get a toll free number direct to the radisson I thought I'd try my luck here!!

I have a couple questions and I am hoping someone familiar with the hotel can help.

First, is there an ATM? We are hoping to not have to use our credit cards while on vacation but am nervous about taking so much cash or travelers checks. Will be able to use an ATM and get US currency? Is there a conversion fee that we may have to pay at the ATM each time (of course our bank will charge us too!).

Would we be able to cash checks at the casino hotel? Just another thought on how to get US cash.

Second, do they cash travelers checks at the hotel. I am assuming they do but will they give us US dollars? Do you know if there is a max. daily or weekly amt. they will cash for visitors?

Thank you!!!

Re: ok- more Radisson questions!

There is an ATM in the lobby of the Radisson
ALL Casino's and hotels will cash travelers
checks. US $$$$$ Not sure if there is a limit per day. Sometimes they ask for ID
but not always if you cash them at the casino's they will ask you to write your hotel and room # on them. I know you asked if you can cash checks at the hotel I do not know if you are refering to personel checks ??? I'm not sure if they cash those.
You are MUCH safer bringing travelers checks
then using your ATM card just in case of fraud or stealing your pin just like here in the US. When I go I usually bring a couple of hundred dollers in cash and the rest in travelers checks. ALL Resturants will accept
travelers check as a form of payment as well.
Anything else just ask hope this helped !

Re: ok- more Radisson questions!

No problem on the ATM they have at least 2. You may want to call your CC company & let them know your going out of country. They may freeze your account if they see charges out of the norm. UDS are the norm & you will have no problem with travelers checks or CC's. You'll love the Radisson we were there a year ago & are going back in july.

Re: ok- more Radisson questions!

The cash machines give U.S. dollars. There is no ATM fees from your bank because it is out of the country.
