    Our first trip...Suggestions?

We are booked and ready to go! Flying out of Newark non stop for $572. It has been climbing so I jumped on it, makes me too nervous to wait and see. This will be our first trip, we are so excited. We will be coming at the end of February. Any good tips or suggestions for first timers?

Tell us of your FIRST visit?
    click the above link

most important tip that i give is to NOT OVERSCHEDULE.
do not book too many excursions.
leave plenty of time to enjoy the beach and float aimlessly about in the ocean.

also.....pack less clothing, more swim suits, much sunblock.

Bring half the clothes and double the money. That really works great for Aruba!!!
Snorkel Mangel Halto, day or night with a waterscooter. Check out our website. E-mail Stuart at arubabob@live.com or call Stuart local: 745-7459 Or visit: www.arubabobsnorkeling.com 50th trip Dec 11, 2017

Relax and don't try to fit everything in. You'll be back. Our first trip we never left the resort. Now 10 trips later we still go back to the same resort but we have extended our stay and move to a different resort for a few nights towards the end of our trip. One excursion I especially enjoyed recently was a snorkel trip on the Black Pearl.

As tiny as the island is, it can be overwhelming, as one can do just about anything and everything. As everyone has mentioned so far, you'll soon realize that you can't do it all. We were hooked after our first trip by the people, the climate and the beaches. For you first trip I would agree with everyone's sugggestion so far, travel light, we're down to carry on's, leave yourself plenty of beach time, try a few restaurants.
I would also recommend taking a tour of the island. There a a few locals that have a passion for their island and love to share it. Once you get acclimated you'll appreciate the history and diversity.
    Enjoy...you'll be back.

I suggest doing an island tour with our favorite taxi driver and tour guide, Bully. He grew up in Aruba and will take you to sites that the bus tours can't get to. We've taken several tours with him and have also taken our family with us on a tour. We all agree that he gives the best tours we've ever had. Besides being a wonderful person, he is so knowledgeable about his home. You will feel like you've seen Aruba when you are finished. His email is bullytaxi79@hotmail.com. His response will come under his name, Amador Lacle. It may come to your spam folder, so if you decide to book with him, be sure to check your spam folder for his reply.
