Oh my goodness you are so right about the never ending week before vacation. We leave this coming Saturday and today, Monday is the longest one in history...at least it seems that way to me!!

Make sure you go over next door to the Bucuti resort from 9 AM to 9:15 am and wave to people back home. camera zooms in then. if you make a sign, use BIG BOLD letters. See www.arubacam.com

go to Alhambra casino for some cheap eats. good food at Cleo's. opens at 6 PM. I think sometimes on Wednesdays they have a buy one meal, get one free. There is also Dunkin Donuts and Subway right there too, and a bagel place. At night from 4 pm to 10 PM mon-sat. there is a little mall behind alhambra casino. Use the phone store in the back to make calls home to USA and canada for only 25 cents per minute.

also if you like ribs, downtown is the Paddock. slow service but food is good. Wednesday is all you can eat ribs for $12.00

check out the restaurants at Casa del mar near you and the other side is Costa linda. also the pirates nest at the bucuti for food.

I would definately recommend the Tattoo Party Cruise over the party bus. My husband did both on our honeymoon last August and did not have a good experience on the bus. I don't dance, but the music on the Tattoo had me on my feet all night! And I second the recommendation on the Jolly Pirates snorkel sail, SO much fun! We went on the 5hr one and it's open bar, a good amount of food for lunch, dancing & rope swing with acrobatics done by the deckhands. A great time had by all! Just bring your sunscreen!

Well everyone we are leaving tomorrow night to drive down to Charlotte, then fly off to Aruba Saturday Morning. I wanted to thank everyone for the suggestions and ideas. I will put something together for a review when I return.
