LOL...I think he's finally catching on and did a great job getting his stuff together. He took out more than just boardshorts and 2 shirts this time The only thing he forgot was flip flops and a razor, but we got it all together. I'm sure he will wear only half of the shorts he's bringing, but I'm picking my battles and not complaining that he is bringing 3 pairs of khaki shorts that look exactly the same.

I will probably 1-2 loads of laundry. We didn't focus on how many things were bringing and just brought our favorites. If we run out, I will do laundry.

We are flying Southwest, so no bag fees, its more about just lugging stuff around that we were trying to avoid. We will be checking 2 total.
We ended up with one large bag with mainly snorkel stuff, a blow up float and snacks and larger liquids, including sunblock. Those fins take up so much space! We also have our soft sided cooler in there. We have one that is like a bookbag that sometimes I carry on, but I didn't need to this time.
Next up we have a medium sized checked bag with a mix of our clothes.
Then we have a rolling carry on, with mostly my stuff and a bookbag with most of Jon's stuff. The bookbag will double as our beach bag most days. I think our carryons are packed in such a way that we won't need to open up the medium sized checked bag until after our move from Holiday Inn to ABC.

We did the same over the last couple weeks. I had a box in our spare bedroom that I was dropping things into as I thought of them. As we packed some of those items turned out to be unnecessary.

If anyone remembers the bud light commercials you will get the reference.

I am knee deep in packing mode and it's over whelming to point that I have taken a break. But I have to be finished before the Redskins game at 4. We have so many convenience items that we just "have to have" And narrowing down swimsuit options is impossible, I just love them all.
For a minute I thought you were talking about me

My wife agreed to work from home on Friday which she can do as a senior employee with no problems. She will do her hard core packing then. I've been putting in some snorkel gear that I like to use, those quick dry chamois towels and a tripod I like to take for low light photos. Crazy thing is in Houston we could still be wearing shorts this week but now it looks like colder weather so the shorts can get packed. We have lots of little comfort items we have learned to pack from past trips to places so they can get packed this week.

I have a suggestion to help you. Stay at a clothing optional resort. Packing will be a breeze.

I unpacked one of the bags and repacked with a few less items so I feel better about myself now.
