Packing has begun... landing tomorrow!

24 hours from now my plane should be landing.

Doing my packing now... I typically make a list. Going a different route this time and trying to pack very light.

Will post some reviews from AUA!

Have a great time! We pack 6 weeks ahead with a lot more than we need. We then eliminate stuff when we need the "going to Aruba lift".

My wife would never let me pack that far ahead! I already talk to much about our trips...if I was actually acting on it, she might strangle me.

Sounds way to familiar.

Have a great trip!

I always do my packing the night before, too. I start putting certain things aside in the spare bedroom but no actual packing ever gets done until the night before. I feel like I have it down to a science now - and I'm happy to say that for a 17 night trip I only take one suitcase and one carry-on - that's it!

I started my packing today. I washed all the things I want to bring, swimsuits (4), coverup, 2 flip flops, 3 shorts, 3 shirts, 2 skirts & tops, 1 dress, 1 workout outfit, sneakers, and a light weight sweatshirt.

Washed my snorkel, mask, and fins and dried them outside. Pool float. 2 snorkel vests.

Suntan lotion assorted #'s, lip balm 45, scalp spray.

Food items, mixers, and alcohol.

Next weekend I will finalize and finish up. The work week is too hectic, leave by 6:30 am, I get home late, then dinner, homework, laundry, dishes and then crash by 10 pm.
(Have to fit in the tanning salon a couple of times each week too).

I have to get some travelers checks this week.

Pack my carry on too. Camera, charger, swimsuit, change of clothes, snacks, jewlery, money, travelers checks, paperwork, passport, and a book.

Getting excited and the wait is rough.

1 suitcase under 50 lbs to check and 1 carry on.

Jill

haven't started packing yet...but lots of stuff on bed in spare room...pretty much know what I am and am not taking, so it is just a matter of dividing it up between suitcases..which will be 3 this year since I have to bring dive gear....whoppee...

Shnyda,....have a great time...be there in 1 week....

i always knew spare bedrooms were for something other than houseguests and sleeping. :-)

when our son was young and in school, our dining room was really the homework room.

LOL...yeah, isn't it funny how rooms that were designed for one thing end up being used for completely different things...like the spare bedroom very rarely is used for sleeping...!!!!!
