There were a TON of booted cars across from the Ren the other night. We were driving to Barefoot.

Aruba's disgrace. Shame on my beloved Aruba for enacting such a Machiavellian policy.

Not Cool!. Stuff like this is going to keep visitors from venturing into the capital city. Is this some sort of attempt to get people to utilize the local bus or taxi service? What convinced the authorities to institute this in the first place? Sigh!!

In theory, it is a great idea for the paid parking. In reality, it is not working out so far. There has to be a better way. Too many people, both residents and tourists, are receiving tickets and having their car booted.

I wish the car rental companies would get more explicit about the parking situation - it might save a lot of tourists a lot of hassles.
