Part 2 PBV trip report

Ok its Tuesday and its the day for the Kukoo kunuku Bus... all ten of us ranging from 18 to 74 await for the bus arival at 5:45PM and on time here comes the Party bus we can hear it a mile away..wow and I forgot the Tylenol oh well.
We get the pleasure of the Big MOMA she is the host for the evening ... dressed in wild caribean outfit and screaming "LETS PARTY" we get on the bus and start our adventure into the night, first stop light house, beatifull view as usuall great sunset, champange toast, get read the riot act, what is expected of you is " TO HAVE FUN, no FUN OUT OF THE BUS" off we go to the ex ambasadors house (Vila) great place, I did not expect such a nice place and meal, got to see the interior of house and all. Oh i forgot to mention at every stop you get one (1) Free drink of choice. After dinner the bus moves to 4 local bars and every one has great time dancing laughing and making fools out of themselves like me!
As night progress big mom gets louder and well wilder...she has been doing this job for 7 years straing 6 nights a week, what a life, but its not ez keeping everyone happy and going and then putting up with the drunks at the end! MOney must be good for her to continue!
End of night I dont recall even getting to my room but i did walk off the bus and into my room, dont know how, wife did not talk to me in the morning, oopps.
Well all ten had so much fun that we wanted to repeat it and did a week later with 20 from PBV this time, we requested big moma and got her. This time we only stop at the Phoenix and pick up a another group of 15..as soon as they got on the bus I knew we were in for a show thats for sure...GIRLS GONE WILD! YEp for sure, I cant write what wild time it was but we got a $200 show for the price of $100. let your imganition go and go and well u get what i mean.. too bad i was not 25 again
I never danced so much in my life since high school so it was a great time since im not a dancer, but this time i do rembmer getting off the bus!
Some restaurants we went to Brizas del Mar, past the airport been there for years just before flying fish bones same road .. great food great price on the water but not on the sand good sunset too! oh 24 of us went together.
Tony ROmas good as usual, Tulip GOOD deal good meal, Aqua Grill not bad but LOUD hard to have a conversation accross the table,
New restaurant just opened 1 month ago PORTUGUESE rest called O FADO in from the highrises, small friendly good food, cant forget Sunset beach bristo at the Phoenix great on the beach good prices good food!
ok thats enough for restaurants, but AMICI has the best ICE CREAM and EXPRESSO COFFEE, went there almost every night or afternoon snack!
Met some very influencial (spelling) lady at AMICI one afternoon an Arubian who gave me some great insight on the Island life and the Holloway case. The media does not report everything they should thats for sure nothing new but not fair to the Arubians! Tourism is 1% down which does not seem like much but as she explained it does hurt the economy! This wonderfull lady made it possible for me to have a meeting with a company that I had wanted to meet with and had not been able too, but she arranged the meeting with the CEO for me, this tell you how nice the Arubian people are, she even picked me up at the timeshare and drove me to the meeting! THANKS Estter!
Moving on lots of relaxing some gambling but no luck this year ... cant wait for lacabana casino to reopen, its due to within a year give or take!
IF anyone wants to do water sports go to EaGle Beach in Font of PAradise beach Vilas and look for HENRY, tell him I sent you and he will give you the best deal on any water sports!
How to get FREE Beer and Wine in the afternoon downtown I will tell you about it next time......in part 3 ......
Starting to sound like HOwie ... DEAL or NO DEAL!

Re: Part 2 PBV trip report

Tony, I've learned from experience long ago that a long post with many details usually is skipped over hence no answers.
After a few paragraphs people tend to move on away from the post no matter what the content is. However, I did read the entire story. I also tend to go on and on but I was informed yrs. ago that sometimes less is more. Just a friendly notation.
