Not sure what you and your buddies are up for. Some younger folks want to just get smashed for a week, others want to have an adventure. Scuba, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and many other water sports are available. There are golf courses, riding stables, casinos and brothels on the island. You will also find some of the best restaurants in the Caribbean. If you just want to party, you can do it on a boat, on a bus or in a pool at the swim up bar or on the beach at happy hour. The people are very friendly and outgoing. Most speak English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento. Drugs are prohibited. Driving is about the same as here.

Senor Frogs has quite the party atmosphere. I'm sure you can find a great vacation, you just have to know where to look!

The pool @ Gold Coast Aruba, Holiday Inn Casino, Arashi Beach, Sunset @ California Lighthouse, Baby Beach, Our friends hotels/timeshares when they are on the Island at the same time as us
While there is a small singles scene in Aruba, the Island seems more appropriate for couples and families. If I was doing a getaway with the guys - and wanted more than some day drinking and the casino --- I would choose an Island that caters more to the club scene, etc. You would have a blast in Aruba, but there are definitely better places for what you are looking for.
