I use it. Can go to work with it or to the beach with it or off into the country side with it and even to church with it. I can drive by where all the good looking ladies are and use it - but I would rather not so I use it at home. Works great for up to 3 to 5 people at same time.

We are thinking of renting them - OOOOPS Sorry Andrea.

A while ago, we purchased the Novatel Wireless MiFi® 2200 EVDO model/device.

We stopped at the MIO store & one of their employees configured it to work with all our laptops, in just a matter of minutes. (You could also do it yourself if you know anything about computers).

Now when we return to Aruba, we just purchase the 4 GB plan for about $39 per month and all of us (up to 5 devices) can connect to the internet at the same time.

It’s a nice little portable device that meets all of our internet needs. It also comes with an adapter that plugs into any electrical outlet to charge the battery as needed.

It’s super easy to use…turn it on, connect laptop (Ipad, etc) to WiFI & you’re ready to go.

Definitely cheaper than a monthly Setar card ($70) which only connects one laptop at a time.

Andrea just told me about this device as well. Is a laptop needed to configure it initially, or can I just bring my iPad, iPhone, etc and have those devices discover the signal from the MIO device? Appreciate any info.

Yes to tablets. Yes to smartphones. Laptop not necessary.

I WAS a strong supporter of the MIO unit. For my revised thinking on this, PM me or mail me before making financial commitments. PS I do not rent these units and have no financial commitments or benefit one way or the other. In fact, I have supported (via recommendations) this unit and have tried to help those that needed them - to get them. Right Andrea?
