Yes--I read it and signed. You do NOT need to make a donation to sign the petition.

I was just about to post,I got it.My question is this petition real and how did they get our email address,is this from the other BB?

read it and signed it! Unfortunately I think it is a done deal and a zillion signatures probably won't do a thing to stop it. Hopefully Arashi Beach is not next on their list!!

if you are a member of the visitaruba or one of the other bulletin boards. then that is how they got your email.

it did not come from this site.

because this site is owned by a branch (labor and tourism) of the aruban government, Aruba Tourism Authority aka ATA,we are not allowed to post the petition site nor encourage folks one way or another.

sure can.
and from what i read and hear most are "con"

nope, the new government is well aware of the situation and the controversies and the citizen's and resident's opinions.

personally, i like the majority, object to the ritz.
i am not an aruba resident or an aruba citizen.
therefore, i feel it is not necessary to voice my opinion publicly on this matter.

i object to the way it was sneaked in at the final moment.

i think it is a done deal.

if folks want to voice their opinions they should do so by getting in touch with the
"prime minister"
