Re: Phone calls to the states

There's a phone station and internet station that you can make calls for 25 cents a minute to the US and also use the internet for a very low charge.
Its located behind the Alhambra Casino in their mini-mall. Ask anyone there, its easy to locate.
It opens daily at 4 PM. Easy to use and very dependable.
We're gonna allow you two calls. One when you land and one when you leave the island.
Ha Ha, leave home...home. No news is good news! Have a great vacation.

Re: Phone calls to the states

Rent a cell phone from Aruba Fastphones!
They work excellent and are very reasonable!
I did it last year and I am doing it again this year! It was a no-hassle way to be reached and to call home with zero hassle.
(I am a Realestate Broker) It was A+.

Aruba Fastphone has a kiosk at the Airport.
Ask for Charles!

Re: Phone calls to the states

I'm staying at the Occidental Grand Aruba. I mainly want to give family and friends a heads up for the Bucuiti web cam. Is there a place near Occidental?

Re: Phone calls to the states

With Aruba Fastphone, if a family member needs to contact me, when they call it is a free charge? Not charged to my home phone? I understand I pay to return the call.

Re: Phone calls to the states

Gale,
Allow me to correct that.

With us, the incomming call is not charged to your rented phone. In many areas of the world the charges are for both sides.

The person initiating the call does pay based on the calling rates at his location and based on his carrier.

Often, if your calls are coming from your own home phone, it is wiser to make the at the .24¢ per minute rate. This, however is up to you since many homes have "home-offices" or many times our clients are waiting for their offices to call.

Depends on the situation.
