exactly how it was for us leaving in april on a saturday......that being said I have been in the exact same line in november long before any problems with layoffs of customs agents, so I guess it's just the nature of the beast.............EVERYONE loves Aruba and nobody likes to leave

YIkes we have started coming in on Monday and leaving on a Tuesday afternoon... gives us more time in paradise instead of the airport!

What I was implying is that by being in first class at check-in, you get a head start on the mass of people in those custom and security lines. We also get to the airport rather early (3 hours or so) before departure. It seems to be the same on arrival at immigration. If you get off of the plane before the other 300 people, the lines are much shorter.

TODAY, a Tuesday, probably the slowest day of the week, during LOW season... these flights are arriving within 1 hour of another. First class or no first class it is still a LOT of people.

    Airtran Expected 12:05
    Jetblue Airways Expected 12:10
    Delta Airlines Expected 12:20
    United Airlines Expected 1:05

true, lisa, cause even if you were in first class but were the 2nd or 3rd plane to land, you still are going to be behind the entire plane of the previous departing people. bottomline is, it is what it is.

EXACTLY, lol....We wait in line at the supermarket, we wait in line at stores, we wait in line at the gas station. If I had a choice, I'd rather wait in line knowing the sun is out and in a couple of hours I will be on the beach, lol.............
