A positive step for the island's canine inhabitants, or, DOG JUSTICE!

It took a lot of jumping up and down, and perhaps a shift in the way of thinking, but it's finally happening.
Go, take a look at this....

I just got back and only saw 2 stray dogs unleashed, at both times they each had a red collar on.

well i can tell you that in the malmok area, there are tons of dogs running around. they all have collars on but none were on a leash, none were with a human. its like their owners opened the doors and they are free to go wherever. it was so much so we even commented on it. drive on malmok weg and you'll see (that's the street where Tierra del Sol is located).

That is AWESOME! So happy for the dogs and for additional revenues the fines will provide!

Yes, I'm sure there are going to be continued occurrences of dogs running and roaming, and there are going to be owners that are going to act as if they're above and beyond the rules, because that's just the way some people are, but I think on the whole, things are about to get better for the canines of the island.
It will take time for the mindset to change, nothing positive happens instantly, but the change will happen.
