    Public Beach use

My wife and I love Aruba and have visited 8 times. However, we are not really 'beach people', hence we stay at CPV. On our upcoming trip we are bringing people who will want to spend the day(s) at the beach. I know anyone can access a particular beach. My question is can we visit a beach such as Eagle or Palm & enjoy the amenities? Can you bring your own beach towel and stake out a small area or do you ( can you ) rent a chair. or lounge? Any information would be appreciated

    Yes all beaches are public.

Yes you can go to any beach and stake your claim in the sand and lay down a towel.

Yes, you can bring your own beach chairs.

Yes, for a fee you can rent chaise lounges and umbrellas for various vendors along the beaches.

No, you cannot use the resort's shade palapas and chaise lounges. Some resorts do however sell day passes.

I believe that CPV has beach privileges at MoomBa on Palm Beach so you may wish to check on that.

Thanks ArubaLisa. You are correct about CPV and Mooba beach. I wanted to get info on the other beaches in general.

there are some shade huts on arashi beach that are first come first served.
someone from the group would have to get there early to secure the shade hut, but you'd have to bring chairs/lounges.

i have friends that bring chairs to palm beach at Holiday Inn.
they have those low beach chairs, that lay back to be sort of like lounges.
the put their chairs back on the beach under the palm trees.
    (watch out for falling coconuts)

we did this with them once last year when we were staying at CPV.
    it was perfect.
