On our recent trip to Aruba, on the last night we were there, a local boy (who was "vacationing" at the same resort) ask me for my 9 year olds phone number so that he could stay in touch with her and hopefully come back for a vacation at the same time.

Many of the children ask my daughter if she is Mexican and if she speaks Spanish (she gets real dark real fast).

My daughter has met a lot of kids while cruising (and we met their parents and all hung out and became friends...like we did with the other family while in Aruba this time) but I was a little uneasy about my 9 year old daughter giving her number to a 13 year old boy. This momma is not ready for that.
