i just returned from aruba on sunday (1 st time I am looking to return in feb or march. as i was told when we were there that it was not their busy season, i was wondering if anyone could explain when there busy or moderate season begins and ends? thank you in advance!

Prime Time or the busy season is like Christmas through March. Slow Season is like May and June. Other times would be moderate.

High season, meaning the busiest season, is mid December through mid April due to people wanting to escape the cold for awhile. If you look at room & car & airline rates you'll find they're higher during that period. Though it seems the last few years Aruba is becoming more popular all year round and if that trend continues it'll probably be high season Jan thru Dec.

busy season is during christmas, carnival and eastern. I think you planned your next trip around Carnival, which period is busy and expensive to travel

high season begins in Dec. actually it is busy all year in Aruba but it is very busy in Dec and the rates go up middle Dec and dont go down until April. it is hard to get plane tixs out of the East during the cold times

end of sept beginning of oct is the beginning of busy season, it is when we start getting cold is when they get busy

thanks for all your input i just got back and every there kept saying how slow it was... we figured since its hurricane season, more people would have tried to escape them and go to aruba instead???
