RAIN DROPS ARE FALLING ON MY HEAD

I think about that song all the time - wish I could remember wich movie it was tied to. Whatever - must have been a good one. For some reason I want to say Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Point is that rain drops haven't fallen on my head. The panic and woryy that was started by the weather channels and sonic radar thingy-ma-jiggies have faliled once again. Not that it doesn't rain on Aruba, it does, but when the weather guys start talking about the kind of weather they prognosticated for last week, well//// it just aint so all-a-da-time. HOw is that for a made up word?? Love it.

It is amazing to me that the one thing that we on Aruba can more or less guarantee (help out there mom-nature and don't let us down) is the one thing that dominates the concern on the boards. My guess is that the continueing concern comes from the fact that it is just "To-Good-To-Be-true" Well oddly enough it is true. Aruba and its location on this mass of ocean is blessed with high and low fronts and all of the other complicated terminology that the weather guys use.

Here comes Paul Newman on a bike singing
"Sunshine is falling on my head . I'd rather be on Aruba in-in-in-in stead....

Re: RAIN DROPS ARE FALLING ON MY HEAD

Planning a November trip for the first time. This considered thier "rainy season". Will I be taking a big risk with a November vacation?

Re: RAIN DROPS ARE FALLING ON MY HEAD

We go every year for 2 weeks in November. We have never had any rain until last year. There was more rain and it was overcast a few days - no big deal. When it rained we went shopping or to the Casinos or just sat by the pool under the palapas and had a few drinks until we got back in the pool. Some folks never got out of the pool.
