    Rain,rain.....finally

The drought is over. This morning we have long overdue heavy rain. The gardens are getting relief

We've had nothing but rain for 2 weeks straight here so it's making me dream of being there, even if it is during one of those showers. At least you know it will end. I'm not so sure here. Cold and rainy May has me wanting to book a trip even more than usual.
Not sure when, but we will be back

I remember being "stuck" at the Bugaloe once during a downpour for a couple of hours. It was actually fun - we were dry and we had a bar so all was good! Except the people who were coming in off of their snorkel cruises didn't look too happy.

I know the rain was definitely needed there so I'm happy they're getting a nice shower.

So glad Aruba got the desperately needed rain!

It probably will not take too long and the sun will be out again for those who are on vacation right now.

    They didn't like being wet.

Here now at ABC- cloudy yesterday with sprinkles now and then and at 4 the clouds were gone and the sun shone. Today was sprinkles, gray clouds and then rain really hard 2-3 times. Still cloudy now but sky is brighter then it has been. I know they need rain but we had really heavy rain and clouds in November sooo I think I deserve the sun this vacation! Hoping our next 7 days become more Arubaish- sun, heat, windy. My liver needs a break from happy hour!

Happy for the island getting her rain, but honestly happy I'm not there for it! I want nothing but sunshine & very early morning light rain while I'm there!

That's true and I think we all feel that way, but when the wife wants to go shopping it's nice to be able to say "well it's raining anyway so we aren't losing any beach/pool time".
