I am a newbie. My Fi and I are looking to honeymoon in Aruba the first week of November. I read below that is the rainy season. Is this true?

Any feedback would be much appreciated

Thanks

Re: Rainy Season?

We were there over the week of Thanksgiving 2005- it rained our first morning there, ended up being a beautiful day and we had no more rain the rest of the week - go and enjoy !

Re: Rainy Season?

Hi

We were in Aruba from 11/12/05-11/19/05. Yes, it did rain 1 day (misty); however, we used that day to go in to town and shop around. The rest of the week was basically sunny & beautiful. I came back with a great tan and used sunscreen. Hope this helps.

Re: Rainy Season?

if you want to go to an island then Aruba is it. If you want some place else consider Hawaii. Aruba does have a rainy time, the weather all over the world seems to be changing. Nov is a month of wierd weather in the tropics so be careful of the places you pick. Aruba will be fine in Nov. read trip advsor for more info. Best wishes.sharon

Re: Rainy Season?

We visited Thanksgiving week 2005 and had showers here and there. Visited Thanksgiving week 2004 and it rain the entire time and I'm talking downpours. Not to take any more chances we have decided to forego November travel to Aruba and moved it up to September for 2006. Hope this helps.

Re: Rainy Season?

Was in Aruba the past two November's and rained pretty much the entire time. I'd avoid November if you're worried over rain. We were told the first time it was unusual for all the rain then the second year it happened again so we learned our lesson...Aruba is great but not in November

Re: Rainy Season?

I'm also looking at a honeymoon in Aruba during the first or second week of November which my fiancee and I are super-excited about.

What's the rain there like? I mean it's still warm out there, right? Or am I'm way off base?

Thanks for all the posts. Lots of great information!
