Can't be bothered to actually read on vacation, so I listen to audiobooks now lol.

Listened to "You Can't Make This Up" by Kevin Hart, on this last trip. I'm a big fan of his so it was interesting to me to see how a kid from the inner city of Philadelphia evolved into the highest paid comedian in the world. Also brought along "The Book of Joy" but figured I wouldn't have enough time to finish it, so I never started it.

Maggie read "A Dog's Purpose", actually read... in paperback... cause she's old fashioned. It made her cry several times which seems like a bummer to me, but she really enjoyed it. Might watch the movie tonight, hope it doesn't make me cry.

    hooray for audio books!
paul and i too "listen" instead of read.
the last book we "read" was John Gray's (Aquaman) book.

the best thing about audiobiiks on the beach is that you can listen AND watch the sites.
and there are sites indeed on the beaches.

Hi Andrea....hope you enjoyed my novel. Be ready as the sequel, "Journey to Unknown Consequences " should be available in November. It is set during Aruba's dark times in the 1960's ...drug trafficking, money laundering, the massive Mafia investment into land and the founding of Interbank for their purposes. Again it is a work of fiction. The same characters surface and ????

    should be a good read
A novel set in Aruba "Journey of Betrayals" available now on Amazon or at certain bookstores in Aruba
"The sequel "Journey to Unknown Consequences" available this November, 2017

I just finished Blue Smoke by Nora Roberts and enjoyed it. Her books are such an easy read and great for the beach or the flight.

I'm re-reading Simon Schama's, "History of Britain" all the volumes.. it's a tome but gives a great perspective on how Brexit inevitably happened. And, man, you can't make up all those Henry VIII shenanigans!
