If you like St Kitts, i think you will LOVE Aruba I do Aruba every summer. Last February i went to St Kitts for a week, and while i had a relaxing time and thought it was nice, it didnt come close to Aruba. Although i will say, it reminded me of Aruba the first time i went, 30 years ago, but its totally different today. And the Aruban beaches kill the St Kitts beaches One thing, i know there are a lot of fans of All Inclusive. For me, it doesnt make sense to do AI in Aruba, becasue there are so many great restaurants on the island. |

You cannot beat Aruba - the people are fabulous, the food is delisious and the weather is perfect. I have been going for 12 years and stay three weeks at a time. You will never regret it...

I think you will love Aruba. We are from the UK and really enjoy it every time we go. Its a small island so don't expect massive 'attractions' (as our U.S. cousins would call them) or blockbuster shows - you won't find them. The people on the island are very welcoming and it really has a laid back dutch feel to the place. Take advantage of the watersports, go snorkeling and do some of the trips mentioned in the earlier posts, they will keep you busy. There are great restaurants and cocktail bars too. The only way you will be disappointed is if you are expecting it to be like somewhere like Orlando - It simply isn't. Enjoy the sun, the beaches and the wonderfully friendly local people. Also it is possible to book flights only with First Choice. If you go to their website click on "flights" rather than holidays and you can book between April and October. If you can wait last minute I have seen flights ocassionally down to as little as £300 (14 Nights) for a month or so ahead. I'm sure you will have a great time, don't worry !! |
