    Reiki anyone?

    Reiki on the Beach!!!
For those that may be interested, my lovely wife and I will be on the island for the week of May 12th until the 19th, 2018.
During that time, I will be doing Reiki sessions on the beach, probably between the Tamarijn & Divi, on Druif Beach.
I'm a registered and certified Reiki master, and there's nothing I enjoy more than seeing the reactions and relief coming from people that I work with.

If you're curious, please visit my webpage at www.heyoka-healing.com, and if you're interested, feel free to contact me there, or here.

    be well, brightest blessings

    Good questions...
    Okay... links coming at ya....
    http://www.heyoka-healing.com/reiki.htm
Basically, it's a hands-on or hands-off treatment, the therapist directing "energy" to the recipient through touch and intention.
Some tend to compare it to massage, but that's incorrect. Massage manipulates the body, the physical body, whereas
Reiki is a manipulation of the energetic body or aura.
It's useful for healing... healing others, healing yourself, healing animals, plants.... your environment.
Sound a bit far-fetched? I thought so too until I started to study it and really understand it.
How does one become a master/teacher? (I'm not fond of the term master... no one ever masters energy...)
You delve into energy work and the human body and learn how we work as human beings and study until
you realize you're supposed to be healing people and teaching them how to take care of themselves.

Then you find a Reiki teacher/master and learn the ins and outs of Reiki, take your first 2 level attunements and keep going until you feel you're ready to move along, then you find a teacher/master course and.... there you have it.
    I've been a practicing teacher/therapist since 2007, been a practicing therapist since 2004.
It's kind of a calling, and I love doing it.

    Howzat?
    Mr. Ratt

Yeah, it can be a bit much to swallow at first, or maybe I should say digest.
The truth is it (Reiki) is something we're all familiar with, whether we realize it or not. It's the sort of thing that, until someone points it out, you don't notice it. In biblical terms it was called "laying on of hands".
Ever bump your elbow? (silly question, I know...)What's your first reaction aside from cursing about it?
You grab the elbow and rub it.
Have a kid or kids? What is the first thing you do when little Johnny or Suzie bumps their head?
Mom or Dad, or the kid, instinctively rubs it.
    Why?
Is there some "magick medicine" in your hand?
Not really, but, well, sort of... in an obscure way, yes.
It's the medicine of energy and compassion being passed from one living creature to another.
In a nutshell, that's what Reiki is.
One or more sessions? It pretty much depends on the recipient.
I have some people that come see me weekly, some monthly.
Some come see me just to drain off the stress and b/s of a workweek.
Some come see me when they want to find "answers" to questions that need answering.
I don't give or bring the answers as such, I give people the opportunity to access the place they need to go
or information they need to find out. I'm not a psychic or medium, though I can help people "travel" to their "special place".
Yeah, I know, it's a bit airy-fairy... but if I didn't have positive experiences with this sort of thing, I wouldn't keep practicing and teaching. I've watched clients and patients come through some pretty heavy physical, mental and emotional things, ranging from leukemia and cancer to drug addiction and major psychological issues.
I won't say miraculous, but I know others that would.

Give this page a look, if you're curious...
    http://www.heyoka-healing.com/testimonials.htm

NOTE - I don't do the healing, the person that comes to see me does. I just facilitate the act of clearing and moving or smoothing their energy. Once we know what we're dealing with, and how to deal with it, almost anything is possible.

If more than one session is needed, people come back.
If I'm really, really good at what I need to do on their behalf, sometimes no.
But often those people become students and go on to spread the energy as well.

And we can never have enough good energy circulating out there.
And, if you'd like to learn more about this, click on the word Reiki...

And, yes, ace2063 , it's exactly what the heyoka would order.
    (I do distance work, if you're interested....http://www.heyoka-healing.com/distance_reiki_treatments.htm)

Distance work? Now that sounds airy. No offense intended but come on.

I saw a star trek episode where this healer touched doctor mc coy and healed his wounds but it passed on to her. So do you absorb the bad energy?

the place where we used to live in florida has a reiki group and instructor/master.
the participants swear by it and there is a waiting list to join.
the master is also the yoga and tai chi instructor.

ace, yu will be in aruba at the same time as mr ratt.
check out his beach sessions at the tamarijn
it is so UN star trek-like.

Yeah, I suppose if Star Trek is your starting point, well, so be it.
Do I assume the bad energy? At one point, before I knew what I was doing, yes, I did.
And I often paid the price through illness, discomfort and fatigue.
Then when I learned what to do and how to do it properly, I got past taking on other's
    discomforts and pains.
No offense taken ace, but, I didn't make up the testimonials on my page.
And they're pretty much all from distance clients. That's why they're on that page.
Go to the page (if you have time) and scroll down to the last four testimonials.

As I said in a previous posting, their words, not mine.

Come on and sign up ace, hey, what do you have to lose other than stress and tension in your world?
