Re: Ren private island
Hi! My family and I stayed at the Ren. hotel and were able to access the island free of charge. But, as any tour guide will be quick to explain, the island does not have ANY private islands which means the Ren. lets other visitors from surrounding hotels go to the island if they pay a fee of about $5 american dollars. The island itself is great. it's white sand, and the just a short boat ride over.
Although it is such a great place, it is kind of located in a bad place. It is right next to the airport which means you hear ALL airplanes taking off AND arriving which can be annoying when trying to relax. And if you dont like iguanas, DONT GO. Haha...I figured this out the hard way, at the same time every day, the staff puts out lettuce to feed the island's creatures -- BIG and SMALL! so just a quick heads up!
I enjoyed my stay in Aruba and at the resort, I would recommend it to anyone going!
