Can you go to this private island even if you don't rent or own at the Renaissance?

They sell day passes at a cost of $75 per person which includes lunch and one beverage. You can also purchase a spa treatment at the Spa Cove through their Okeanos Spa and gain acess to the island that way.

Ah, the private island...heaven is the word that can only describe it...No lines for chairs, 2 beaches, family and adult, tennis courts, restaurant( Jorge and Meluska, the best) , gift shop( Inia, the best) food delivered to your lounge, great kids meals, paddle boats, floats, buckets of beer ice cold, great boat ride over( Jorges, Ricco drivers), Iguanas walking around, ideal wedding location, gym, nature trail, dove ice cream bars.......PERFECTION ...yes, worth the money to go over....once there you will be addicted...cindyo

hawaiianmoonlite, bear in mind that if the hotel is at capacity that they limit the # of passes they sell for the island. Check with a concierge at either the Marina tower or suites desk in advance so you won't be disappointed. This private island is a hidden gem ! cindyo

Omar got away with the Spa Cove...
And as of last week the Spa Cove hasn't been rebuild yet...

But the good news is that they intend to rebuild it.
If you want to go with that option better check with the Okeanos staff first...

I know, that many people complained? So they made some noise big deal. I looked forward to feeding them with the kids every year. I am going to see how I can set up a poll for ren users on this forum and see which way is favored. Maybe if there are more people who want them maybe we can say something to ren managament and get them back. What's fair is fair.

The birds never bothered me. The kids loved to watch them, spending countless minutes standing there. What a shame that they were removed...cindyo
