Rent Portable Beach Chairs

The most recent post on this topic is a couple of years old so I thought I would try again. We like to explore islands and spend time on beaches with no chair rental. In St Maarten we rent 2 Portable chairs and very study beach umbrella for $45 for 10 days. It's a very good deal.

Does anyone provide this service in Aruba?

I'm a newbie to the forum and are going to Aruba later this year for the first time....we are Mexico and St. Maarten lovers but branching out a bit.

Thanks!

welcome to aruba.com community forum

the winds are such in aruba, that umbrellas do not help.......they could become projectiles.

Friends of ours went to one of the stores on the island and bought beach chairs. They were less than $10/each. I would never try putting up an umbrella in Aruba-you'd be fighting it the whole time.

We watched a guy try to put up a beach umbrella about five weeks ago. He fought the wind for a while, it inverted, then split apart. As people have mentioned, its just too windy in Aruba for umbrellas.
