re: condo complex at the port

does anyone know just "what is going on" with the condo complex at the end of the street where senor` frogs is located. (perpendicular to the street and running parallel with cruise ship in port?)

construction began in 2002 and it is
still not completed?
unoccupied?

It went bankrupt - so there it sits.

It could not get a 'occupancy permits' but the place was not
up to code and the place could not let people move it.

That will be an interesting story to see what will happen to it.

I always wondered who would like to live where those cruise
ships blow their horns. They are loud. I know the
port is supposed to move but who knows when that will be.

Are they moving the cargo ships as well as the cruise ships?

Take away those cruise passengers (606768 in 2009) and may as well close all the stores in Oranjestad and build some more shopping malls in Palm Beach.

There are two huge master plans - one for OJ and one for SN.
They are on a grand scale. The cargo is supposed to move
near the dump. That was one of the conditions of the sale
of the hotel across from the certified. Having one of those
days and a brain fart on what the name of it is - know
it starts with a B! LOL!

PS - is Sean Paul still in business? Know that they closed lots
of their locations.

Sean Paul had a big investment in that condo,and I think there was money from Venezuela.Friends of ours are good friend with the brothers and they wanted them to buy....of course they didn't.
