It's been a while hope you and the hubby are doing great. It would be a nice thing since everywhere else on the island is getting so busy, but one of the reason Baby Beach is so nice is because of lesser crowds.
Will see I maybe going end of the year for work and maybe find out more about it. Take care.
JARUBIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nice to see you back. we are well and now grandparents! hope all is well with you too.
i wonder how the residents are reacting if this resort is indeed in the planning stages?
Interesting... Not sure how I feel about this.
ETA: Not that I really matter! lol

I think it's a great idea......understand why many would disagree.
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts is another all inclusive only Spanish owned resort company. http://www.bahia-principe.com/en/about-bahia-principe/
IF this resort is indeed part of their Don Pablo collection it will be "ultra" 5 star all inclusive, most likely adult only.
If it is a top rated 5 Star resort, they better have a large area of things to do on the grounds because there is nothing down there other than the beach. . .

YUCK!.... But it's not my decision, or my island (just an island I love as it is) ....... guess you cannot get in the way of 'progress' and more building...!... just sayin'.....
I just priced their "5 star" 756 room Don Pablo collection in the beginning of March and it was $380 a night including all taxes. Imo, not overly expensive for "luxury" all inclusive. Judging by the drawing Andrea posted this resort would be about the same size...over a mile from end to end.
Personally I don't "get" how an island which already has to import workers would be able to support a resort of this size.
How many wind turbines will it take to support a resort this size on an island which is pledging to be fully energy self-sufficient by 2020?
