Re: restaurant recomendation
Soooo many choices; you're bound to get soooo many *good* and varying opinions.
There were a lot of highly recommended restaurants we did NOT get to during our first-timer trip of 6 days last November. I can only give you 3 sugeestions based on what we really enjoyed:
(1) A window table facing the harbor at sunset at LG Smith Steakhouse. You cannot go wrong with the food, atmosphere and service here. My wife loved her steak but they have so much more. I would *definately* go back for (I had) the Lobster Bisque and humongous, tender Rack of Lamb. Priced moderately high but worth every penny, and the best margaritas (on the rocks, not frozen) I've had anywhere!
(2) Waterfront Crabhouse has Garlic Crabs to die for (wife had them there twice), and many other great seafood dishes. Let owner Roy know in advance it is a special occasion and he will make it an extra special event. (Mention my name and get a free toothpick after dinner.)
(3) A Sunset dinner cruise? We only did a sunset drink/snack cruise, but I think something like that could be real nice and very romantic for a milestone anniversary! Of course the food is only half the fun, but important as your main meal and for what you are paying. Several companies run sunset dinner cruises so them all out for menus, pricing, other people's recommendations.
Congrats, enjoy, and let us know what you chose.
