we will be staying at the Tam. in June, can we request which room we want now?

When I booked in February for last week in April I put in a room request with my travel agent. This does not mean you will get exactly what you ask for (when in life do you)..anyway any room at the Tamarijn is AWESOME !!! Some are just alittle further away from things but walking through the grounds is beautiful. Have a great vaca !!!

You may always request a room through your travel agent or direct through the hotel. I have done this several times and I never got the room I requested. But they always tried to do their best by switching my room a day or two later if the one I requested became available.

You can put in a request through your travel agent. Don't know if you'll get it. We went in 7/2005 and asked for the 1900-2100 block, 2nd floor and also for a refrig. The Tam was very accommodating with everything that we asked for. It was close to the Bunker Bar and a nice walk to the lobby and food area. It was fantastic. We can't wait to go again.

thanks for the info- how far of a walk is it to the lobby? Is it a minute or two or longer. We do have two teenagers and i would like to be able to let them walk by themselfs. Do you feel it's safe enough to let them go off on their on?

It is a 5 minute walk or less from either end of the resort to the main lobby,pool restaurant area. Ihave two teenage boys also and it is very sfe to let them roam all parts of the resort.They will meet other teens there and before you know it they wont even want to be with you.The kids will have a ball.
