Room Safes - Amsterdam Manor

I'd like to bring my notebook computer on our 2 DAY AWAY trip to Aruba.

Has anyone on this board stowed a notebook computer in the room safe?

I'd not like to find out the safe is too small once I get there.

(I did message AM, but so far no response)

Re: Room Safes - Amsterdam Manor

I don't know about Amsterdam Manor, but La Cabana's safes are not large enough to hold a laptop. In fact, I've never stayed at a hotel here or in Aruba that had a safe large enough for a laptop - they are always the small ones large enough for wallets, passports, jewelry boxes.

I've stayed there three times and the safe is too small for a lap top.

I've always stayed at the Marriott Resort and timeshares and the room safes were never large enough to accommodate a laptop either. I always leave mine at home.

I've stayed at Amsterdam Manor and, no, their safes are not large enough to hold a laptop.

Too bad.
Will leave it at home.

The Chaparel Resort in Scotsdale has room safes big enough for a laptop - designed with that in mind. There is an electrical outlet *inside* the safe. Pretty cool
