We are timeshare owners at the Aruba Beach Club and have been booking in a day or two early each year. It has become very expensive to add these days onto our trip ($160 or more per night). Does anyone know of rooms for rent by the night anywhere in Aruba? We were willing to pay these fees in lieu of the cheaper airfares out of Newark during the week rather than on Fri. or Sat. However we have not found any really good fares for July yet so we wondered if rooms could be found anywhere in the tourist area for one or two nights.
www.coconutinn.com--$65 a night for 2 includes full breakfast, pool, and on bus line. Also see www.cactus-oasis.tk or seabreeze and paradera apartment resorts. check on "where to stay" at www.visitaruba.com
I have friends who are time-share owners. They own one week but would like to stay a few extra days. So they buy a 3night 4 day package/w air for approximatey $700.00. They come down on a Wednesday and on Saturday move to there time share. When they purchase their tickets the return is extended to a week from that Saturday. They have 10 days. Since I do not know where you fly out of I do not know what airlines you use. I do know out of Newark,NJ Continental will do it but not American. If you want any other info please stop in our chat room and I would be happy to answer any questions abou this. You can find us evey Monday & Thursday evenings starting at 9PM est. Our site is www.visitaruba.com top right hit on chat.
We also own at ABC and just rented rooms on Priceline too. Never know exactly where you'll get a room until you send in your offer but it has always been greeat. We wounldn't mind paying ABC but they said because of the construction there aren't any extra rooms available. Casa Del Mar will rent the one-bedroom units for $120 each night to owners from ABC.
